Aralonovich, member of the influential Foreign Affairs committee today commented on the proposed trip by Baron Sir Alyn hault-Jackson-Espino
"It is all well and good for some Imperial lackey to swan around the Confederation. After all he may learn something
worthwhile on how to run an interstellar government properly. However, there are real issues to be dealt with between the
Confederation and the Imperium. The Imperium still occupies Solomani territory, and has done so for over a hundred years.
"These worlds are rightfully ours. The Solomani on these worlds demand that they have voice in their own destiny,
a destiny that the mongrel Vilani-controlled empire denies them.
"If this Baron of Buenos Aires is willing to talk
sense on this issue, we will listen. But we also remind the noble baron that nothing more than a cease fire exists between
our two states. We will remind him that the True Men of the Confederation can only take so much arrogance and presumptive
behavior from the mongrel Imperium. It is time for the Imperium to realise this, and come to the discussion table with
real solutions and real proposals, for the True Men on both sides of the illegal occupation line demand nothing less."
Comprising hundreds of worlds in the Solomani Rim, Dark Nebula, Alpha Crucis, Canopus,
Aldebaran, and Neworld sectors, the Solomani Confederation is a major player in the Imperium's rimward political game.
